How to start a
Meditation Practice
The key behind meditation is to not be hard on yourself if the mind wanders...For it will trust me! A simple solution is just to become aware of the mind, and when it starts to wander, redirect it back to your breath and refer back to not being hard on yourself. You also do not need to sit cross-legged. The key is to be comfortable but not too comfortable that you fall asleep!!
You also can use guided meditations. I like the Chopra app, and sometimes I just put on relaxing music or just sit in silence. If you are new to the practice, you can easily just start with 5 minutes and work your way up to 10 minutes and so on. The trick is this is your practice; no two bodies are the same. Do what works for you, and again be gentle on your journey.
Benefits of

Failures = Growth
Our failures help us in many ways more than what we actually realize.
.
1. Help us grow and learn- when we make a mistake we learn what we could have done differently and it helps us to grow and expand our minds
2. Pushes you - when we fail this gives us that push to try again to try another way our failures then become our catalyst
3. Reframes our thoughts- when we fail this gives us the opportunity to rethink, re-do and retry
4. Adds new perspectives- our failures help to open our eyes and our minds to new ways and new ideas leading us to have new perspectives
